Serve the King “Wear the Mission” Contest · Effective August 1, 2026
1.Sponsor
The Serve the King “Wear the Mission” Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by STK Inc. (“Sponsor”), a Catholic charitable organization based in Elgin, Illinois. The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Platforms, Inc.
2.Contest Period
The Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on August 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on December 31, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). Entries completed outside the Contest Period will not be considered. The entry window is scheduled to allow time for merchandise ordered during the Contest Period to arrive by mail.
3.Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and volunteers of Sponsor, and their immediate family members, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
4.How to Enter
To enter, a participant must complete all four of the following steps during the Contest Period:
- Get your gear. Place an order from the Serve the King merchandise store — or, at no cost, create your own handmade Serve the King sign (visibly featuring the words “Serve the King” or the STK crest). No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase does not improve the chances of winning.
- Follow the page. Like and follow the Serve the King Facebook page at facebook.com/ServeTheKing.
- Share the announcement. Publicly re-post Sponsor’s pinned Contest announcement and tag Serve the King.
- Wear it & tag us. Post a public story or post on Facebook or Instagram showing the entrant wearing their Serve the King merchandise or displaying their handmade Serve the King sign, tagging @ServeTheKing (the “Entry Story”). Merchandise-based entries should be posted after the order arrives.
Limit one (1) entry per person. Entries generated by script, bot, or any automated means are void.
5.Winner Selection — Judging
This is a contest of skill. One (1) winner will be selected by a panel of Sponsor’s judges from all eligible Entry Stories based on the following equally weighted criteria: (a) creativity and originality; (b) embodiment of Sponsor’s mission — Serve. Love. Impact.; and (c) overall quality of the Entry Story. Chance plays no role in the selection of the winner. The judges’ decision is final and binding.
6.Prize
One (1) winner will receive a check in the amount of $5,000 USD. The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution is permitted. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes; Sponsor will issue IRS Form 1099-MISC to the winner as required by law. Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received.
7.Winner Notification
The prospective winner will be notified within thirty (30) days of the close of the Contest Period via direct message to the social media account used for the Entry Story. The prospective winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification and may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release. Failure to respond or comply will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
8.Publicity & Content License
By entering, each entrant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to re-post and display their Entry Story, name, and likeness in connection with the Contest and Sponsor’s mission, on Sponsor’s website and social channels, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
9.General Conditions
- Sponsor may disqualify any entry that is unlawful, obscene, disparaging, or inconsistent with Sponsor’s mission, in its sole discretion.
- Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud or technical failure compromises its integrity, subject to applicable law.
- By entering, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and Meta Platforms, Inc. from any claims arising out of participation in the Contest.
- The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
