Although the New Testament rightfully represents many things to many people, at Serve the King (STK) we emphasize the beautiful ideas, thoughts, concepts, and calls to action presented by our Lord Jesus in what commonly is known as the Sermon on the Mount.
STK believes that the Beatitudes provide a roadmap that help communities, families, and people realize their potential, live happier lives, and bring glory to the Lord Almighty. However, in a world that seems to be changing daily due to the breathtaking speed of purported advancements to artificial intelligence, STK is confident that the Lord Jesus Christ long ago shared a tried-and-true path to lead the world towards peace, prosperity, and equitable distribution of wealth and resources.
Moreover, the Beatitudes not only speak to individual ways of life, but to pressing social justice issues while also recognizing the reality of the opposing forces that seek to separate man from his maker.
The Beatitudes
Matthew 5 : 3–10
- 1Blessed are the poor in spirit: the reign of God is theirs.
- 2Blessed are the sorrowing: they shall be consoled.
- 3Blessed are the lowly: they shall inherit the land.
- 4Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for holiness: they shall have their fill.
- 5Blessed are they who show mercy: mercy shall be theirs.
- 6Blessed are the single-hearted: for they shall see God.
- 7Blessed are the peacemakers: they shall be called sons of God.
- 8Blessed are those persecuted for holiness’ sake: the reign of God is theirs.
Beatific Champions
Eight crowns in one year.
One of our goals is to help educate the public by presenting modern examples that showcase the Beatitudes in action. As such, we are happy to announce our plans to crown eight (8) beatific champions over the course of the next year.
At our annual banquet, STK looks forward to not only acknowledging the personal stories of triumph over adversity or kindness in the face of hostility but also providing each of our champions with a $5k check along with a short summary of their story.
